About us:

Alpine Propane was established in 2014 by TJ Lancaster and Bill Muzyl. We are a locally owned and operated family run business with our main office in Gaylord Michigan. At the young age of five, TJ could be seen running the roads in a bulk truck alongside his father Thomas Lancaster Sr. He shares his passion for the propane industry with his sons, Tommy and Levi Lancaster.

Alpine Propane and its sister company Choice Propane, is comprised of five locations that span across Michigan. The Gaylord and Alanson offices service Lower Northern Michigan from Grayling to the Mackinaw Bridge. Choice Propane services the Central and Eastern Upper Peninsula with offices in Gwinn, Newberry, and Pickford

Community Involvement:

Over the years, we have contributed to countless events and area charities, some of which include, Alpenfest, the Otsego County Fair, Toys for Tots, the VFW, Downtown Gaylord Summer Concert Series, and the Otsego County Fire Department. Alpine Propane is also a Chamber Member because we are proud of the community we serve, it’s the place we planted our roots, and the place we call home.
